An unofficial fan game

It's Your Twin is a game made by fans, for fun. It isn’t made, approved or supported by the people who own Anpanman. The characters are ©やなせたかし／フレーベル館・TMS・NTV.

Your photo stays on your phone

Your photo is read on your device and is never uploaded. Only a small square crop of your face goes online, with your result (see below).

What goes on the public wall

After each match, the game posts that face crop, the name you typed (if any), the character you matched and the match %, to the wall on this site. Anyone who opens the site can see it. Switch on “Don’t post” before taking the photo to keep a round off the wall.

The post also keeps the rest of that result, so anyone can open it from the wall: the one or two features its reason line names as alike (your face shape or complexion, say), your face shape, beard or vibe when the line names it, and the next three characters with their match %. For the first of those three, it also keeps the one or two features its own reason line names, with your face shape, beard or vibe when that line names it. It keeps nothing else about your face.

Removing a post

Tap Undo on the result, or the bin beside your entry on the wall, on the phone that posted it, while that browser keeps the site’s data. Retake removes that round’s post too.

If you can’t remove a post yourself (someone else posted it, or your browser data was cleared), tap Report on it. A post reported from 3 different connections is hidden until it’s reviewed. Phones on one Wi-Fi count as one.

Asking for a picture to be removed

If you hold the rights to a character picture on this site, or act for the people who do, ask for it to be removed on the removal request page (/removal/). No account is needed.

The form keeps what you send (the character, what’s wrong and, if you give it, how to reply) only to deal with your request and answer you. We delete it 90 days after it’s dealt with. To stop abuse, it also keeps a keyed hash of your network, never your IP address, for an hour.

Only people who are OK with it

Don’t play with, or post, anyone else without their OK. For a child, ask their parent or guardian first.

We may remove anything

We may remove any post, or change or stop the game, at any time and without notice.

No warranty

The game is offered as it is, with no promises that it works, stays online or gets a match right. A match is a game, not a statement about anyone. You use it at your own risk.
